Here you have the video we watched last class. Please comment on them (whether you agree or not, what measures could be taken to tackle this problem in society, whether you think women are the only victims of objectificacion and stereotypes..)
I think that in every society are stereotypes about women and that they are introduced by the media,the ads or the people. For example, there's a stereotype that every women thinks that she has to be tall and skinny to be accepted by everyone. But there's also stereotypes about men. Like they always have to protect the women, or they never cry when it's not like that. I think that everyone should have the right to do whatever she or he wants and intends and don´t have to think about what the people think.
I totally agree with you Mercedes! But it is not an easy task to do... Sometimes we perceive the world through the eyes of others... how they see us... I hope everyone will become more open-minded and accept people as they are.. =)
